Leverhulme Centre for Life in the Universe

This day will bring together researchers from Cambridge whose research is relevant in light of exoplanets, planets, and life in the Universe.

After a successful online event in June, we will now meet in-person to hear and discuss all the amazing science done in Cambridge. We are meeting at the Diamond, Selwyn College.

We will intersperse talks by our local researchers with some external review talks and end with a panel discussion. There will be room for some posters. There will be plenty of breaks to get to know each other. Refreshments, lunch and a drinks reception will be provided.

Please find the event programme here.

Attendees are kindly asked to follow Selwyn's Covid-19 safety guidelines (details here):

  • Take a LFT test the morning of the event and do not travel to Selwyn if positive. More info on LFTs here.
  • Wrap up warm as we need to keep the event space well ventilated.
  • Wear a face covering during the event and follow the 1m social distancing rule.
